Veteran Nollywood Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has stated that the industry takes so much energy to navigate, specifying that he works harder than Hollywood actor, Denzel Washington. Kanayo who was in a podcast published on Monday on the Honest Bunch YouTube page, compared his movie roles to that of Hollywood’s Arnold Schwarzenegger, emphasising that bad roles do not make bad actors. He emphasised that Nollywood actors like himself, put in so much work to act and produce good movies unlike what is seen today, pointing out that even Hollywood Legend, Denzel Washington could not put in as much effort as he does. “If Denzel Washington puts in the number of hours I put in a production here, his colour will change to charcoal the next day,” Kanayo said.   In a heartwarming moment, Nigerian music sensation Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo, surprised his fellow superstar Davido at his highly publicised wedding on Tuesday. Videos captured the emotional scene as a visibly surprised and elated Davido exclaimed, “Baddo, why did you lie to me?” Olamide, with a broad smile, responded, “Wan surprise you na.” The two artists embraced warmly, with Davido expressing his affection, saying, “I love you,” to which Olamide replied, “I love you too, Brother.” The atmosphere was electric, with Davido struggling to contain his excitement. Nigerian music star Olamide has pulled off two surprises in less than 24 hours. Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has stirred controversy with a recent post leading up to the wedding of his colleague Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland. Recall that Davido earlier announced that he and Chioma would have their wedding on June 25 in Lagos. The DMW boss shared his pre-wedding photos with Chioma on his page on Sunday evening. Wizkid shared a post on Monday morning that appeared to be a shade at his rival, Davido. On his X handle, Wizkid wrote: “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.” While Wizkid’s intentions are unclear, his cryptic messages have fuelled speculation and debate among fans, adding to the drama surrounding Davido’s wedding.
