  Nigerian rap heavyweight  Olamide  surprised fans with the sudden release of his new EP, “ Ikigai / 生き甲斐 , Vol. 1″ (Ikigai translates to “a reason for living” in Japanese). The project features several exciting collaborations. The second track, “ Uptown Disco ,” boasts YBNL stars  Asake  and  Fireboy DML  appearances, promising an energetic and catchy anthem. Talented vocalist  SABRI  joins Olamide for the captivating “ Knockout .” But the true highlight for many fans will be the seventh track, “ Synchro System .” This reunion brings Olamide back together with  Pheelz ,  Young Jonn , and  Lil Kesh  – all former members of his YBNL label.

Veteran Nollywood Actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has stated that the industry takes so much energy to navigate, specifying that he works harder than Hollywood actor, Denzel Washington.   In a heartwarming moment, Nigerian music sensation Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide Baddo, surprised his fellow superstar Davido at his highly publicised wedding on Tuesday. Videos captured the emotional scene as a visibly surprised and elated Davido exclaimed, “Baddo, why did you lie to me?” Olamide, with a broad smile, responded, “Wan surprise you na.” The two artists embraced warmly, with Davido expressing his affection, saying, “I love you,” to which Olamide replied, “I love you too, Brother.” The atmosphere was electric, with Davido struggling to contain his excitement. The evening was further elevated when Olamide took to the stage to perform alongside Zlatan and Fireboy, adding a memorable musical highlight to the celebration.

Nigerian music star Olamide has pulled off two surprises in less than 24 hours. Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has stirred controversy with a recent post leading up to the wedding of his colleague Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland. Recall that Davido earlier announced that he and Chioma would have their wedding on June 25 in Lagos. The DMW boss shared his pre-wedding photos with Chioma on his page on Sunday evening. Wizkid shared a post on Monday morning that appeared to be a shade at his rival, Davido. On his X handle, Wizkid wrote: “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth!
